Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2005 ford f-150 with general tire & rubber ameri-trac tires size p255/70/r17, dot number: a3nd45nw3904. The contact stated that all four tires were defective. The front passenger side tire blew and six months later, the rear driver side tire side walls exploded, causing damage to the vehicle and the remaining two tires experienced tread separation. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who was unable to diagnose the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure who requested to have the tires returned to them. The tires were replaced. The failure mileage was 35,326 and current mileage was 37,700.
