Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2005 ford f-150. While driving 45-55 mph, the vehicle experiences moderate to severe shaking. The road conditions are not a factor. The shaking is so severe that the contact has to stop the vehicle. The brakes, brake pads, and rotors were changed, but that has not remedied the failure. The windshield wipers also raised away from the windshield when the shaking occurred. When the contact shut off the engine and restarted the vehicle, the shaking stopped. All four of the tires were replaced. The dealer disassembled and rebuilt the emergency brake, which was dragging and wore out the lining. The approximate failure and current mileages were 45,000. Updated 09/10/08. *lj the consumer stated the problem was intermittent. Updated 09/12/08. *jb |
