Description of the problem | Took my truck in for service (engine light on for the oxygen sensor) and when they put the truck on the lift the frame folded because it had rusted out on both sides. I was still driving this truck at highway speeds. I bought the truck new and it was driveway parked in connecticut for the 12 years i have owned it. The mileage on the truck is a little over 40k and the body parts of the truck look very good. I had to scrap the truck for parts, very sad. Someone should notify other owners of the 2005 f150s to check the frames because i had no idea it was this bad. |
