Description of the problem | Truck would not start after it was parked. After several tries it started long enough to driver to a local mechanic. Mechanic found a fuel injector was stuck open pouring gas into the cylinder and oil. Vehicle towed to ford dealer for repair. Dealer found a fuel injector was stuck open pouring gas into the cylinder and oil and a bent rod, their recommendation is a new engine. Ford had issued a customer satisfaction program 07m08 to cover the fuel injectors to 11 years or 120,000 miles but since i was at almost 9 years and 134,000 miles ford no longer claims no responsibility for the cost of repair of a known and published problem or to its customer.
