Description of the problem | I was driving @ 45mph when engine suddenly stalled out and lost all power, rpms, and power steering. Check engine lights came on, along with "check gauges" message. Pulled over, turned off truck, then started up and everything was fine again. This is the second time this has happened. Since everything is working again, it wont give a diagnostic code, so problem cannot be fixed. I have read alot online of this happening to others, but ford seems oblivious to the fact. Some say it could be a throttle positioning sensor. |
