Description of the problem | My 2001 f150 throttle speeds up intermittently. Never sure when it will do it or how high it will go. The highest record so far is about 2600 rpm. I normally put it in neutral, pull to the side, turn off and restart the truck and all works well again. Ford garage has looked at it and stated (nothing they can do until it codes or does it in their presence) . I still have to drive it but i do not lend it out to anyone. I am just wondering when and if it will ever tach full speed and really get me in a jam. |
