Description of the problem | Dt: the contact owns a 2001 ford f150. The cruise control quit about one year ago. Also, one month ago consumer could not get vehicle out of park. Yesterday could not get vehicle out of gear again. He replaced the fuse to cruise control after that the cruise control worked. He bought more fuses, they would blow everytime the cruise control was plugged in. Ford said that the fuses, cruise control and the park gear were not connected by the fuses. Service gargae said to unplug the cruise control. When he unplugged the cruise control, the vehicle came out of park, and the cruise control would work. He called ford, and they said this vehicle was not in a recall. As soon as he started to plug the cruise control t it started to smoke. So he quit, trying to plug it up.*ak |
