Description of the problem | Purchased truck new on 11/20/00. Rear seat has no head rest, which will cause some serious head injuries in an accident. Did not realize the seat had no headrest until after the purchase. Talking to other owners, i have learned that ford motor company is now installing seats with headrest. If this was not a safety issue, why would ford motor company redesign the rear seat at mid year. I understand that ford is not doing anything when customers call them, had i known that they were installing a redesigned seat with headrest in the newer trucks off the assy. Line, i would have waited to make my purchase. |
