Product type code | VEHICLE |
Description of the problem | I recently purchased this vehicle and i am very concerned that rear passengers have no protection to prevent their heads from hitting the rear window of the truck in the event of a sudden stop or collision. The rear seats have no head rests and this is a full 4-door vehicle. I also have noticed that ford is now equipping newer vehicles of the same model year with rear seat head rests. This implies that ford apparently acknowledges that a significant safety hazard exists since they chose to redesign the rear seat within a single model year. I am very concerned about the safety of my vehicle and feel that it should be retrofitted with the new rear seat head rests at no cost. *ak |
