Description of the problem | The 2001 ford supercrew pickup truck with 4 fullsize doors designed to seat 3 full size adults in the rear. This truck does not have head restraints for the rear seats. Later made trucks of this same 2001 model year and style have been redesigned to include rear seat head restraints. And also have redesigned front seat head restraints. Ford motor company has made changes in its later manufactured vehicles concerning this safety issue. But when you contact ford customer service they advise they will not replace these front and back seat assemblies, ignoring owners of vehicles with this safety concern. I believe ford should recall the vehicle and correct an under designed safety issue that has been corrected buy later manufactured vehicles. Thank you. *ak |
