Product type code | VEHICLE |
Description of the problem | Recently purchased this vehicle and noticed that rear passengers have no protection to stop their heads from hitting the rear window of the truck in the event of a sudden stop or collision. Had a need for a sudden stop with a passenger in the rear with this occurring. No injury occurred this time. Have noticed ford is now equipping new vehicle with head rests. Is this a known safety hazard that needs addressing? I believe so before someone is unnecessarily injured due to an inherent design flaw that ford apparently acknowledges by a new seat redesign. *ak |
