Description of the problem | My wife was driving home from work last evening around 9:00 pm in our 2001 ford f-150 pickup truck when she heard a noise coming from under the truck. She stopped to investigate the source of the noise to find that the gas tank had fallen onto the road which put a hole in the tank which leaked out all the gasoline. The straps which support the tank had rusted out causing the tank to fall out. Thankfully she was not injured. Ford needs to address this issue before someone is killed. |
