Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2001 ford f-150. The contact stated while driving approximately 35 to 40 mph he noticed the tank had detached from the vehicle. When he inspected the vehicle he noticed that two straps were fractured and were severely rusted, but no fuel had spilled out of the fuel tank. The vehicle was not inspected by a dealer nor was it repaired. The failure and current mileage was approximately 126,000. |
