Description of the problem	Straps that secure fuel tank to vehicle failed due to rust . This allowing fuel tank to fall from vehicle while vehicle was in motion . Upon contact with the road surface tank developed a hole allowing about 16 gals of fuel to contact the road surface and public sewer . Fire dept was called along with maryland dept of environment and clean up began . I was billed for the cost of the clean up .
