Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2001 ford f-150. The contact stated that the fuel tank had rusted and started to leak. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for repairs under nhtsa campaign id number: 11v385000 (fuel system, gasoline: storage: tank assembly: mounting). The contact mentioned that although the tank was leaking at the time of the replacement of the straps the manufacturer refuse to cover the fuel tank replacement since it was not included in the recall.
