Description of the problem | While on a trip and 400 miles from home , the vehicle started missing severely. We were able to get to our destination some 180 miles further. The following morning the check engine light came on and the vehicle was malfunctioning badly. We got a dealer to repair it. The intake manifold was cracked and causing water/antifreeze to create the problem. The manifold was replaced along with other necessary parts. Apparently this is a common problem on the f-150. |
