Description of the problem | 8/31/18: traveling 55 mph and suddenly lost all pedal power on i-40, only able to coast to shoulder. We waited 3 hours on the side of the road for a tow truck while traffic whizzed by dangerously close to our vehicle. Vehicle towed to flagstaff, az nearest city, however it was friday after hours and the dealership was closed until tuesday morning due to the labor day holiday. We were stranded in flagstaff until 9/4/18, unable to get authorization for a rental car until it was determined if it was covered by a warranty. Ultimately, they replaced the throttle body. There are many complaints of this same vehicle on the internet. We believe this should be investigated further and recalled if necessary. Please see letter below |
