Description of the problem | At about 56000 miles, while driving down the road at about 55 mph, the wrench light came on and the truck went into, what i now know as, crawl home mode. I had to drift to the side of the road and restart the truck. About a week later the same thing happened. To it to the dealership where is was purchased and was told that it is a faulty throttle body. I was told that it is not covered under any warranty and would be close to $500. 00 to repair. After doing some searches online i found that this has happened with thousands of late model fords, some of which ford agreed to repair and offer a longer warranty. |
