Description of the problem | Driving on a city street about to get onto a highway car started to stumble then died out. We got it started back up but no throttle. Had it towed back home. I hooked up an obd2 code reader and the codes were p2112 and p2111 electronic throttle body. I found some info online like a recalibration test ( key on, press pedal down slowly then release slowly, then turn key off). Started back up like there was no problem. This car has 38,000 miles this seams like a safety issue, if we were to turn in front of someone and it died out we could of got hit!!! I will be taking it in to the dealership to be fixed, car is still under warranty |
