Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2002 ford expedition. While driving approximately 40 mph the contact heard a very loud sound from underneath the hood of the vehicle. The sound was derived from a spark plug that was ejected from the cylinder head. The failure caused the contact to swerve across two lanes of traffic and drive into someone's yard. The vehicle shut off, and was towed to a mechanic. The mechanic confirmed that the ejected spark plug was indeed the cause of failure. The current mileage is 72,502, and the failure mileage was unknown.*ak |
