Description of the problem | Went to wash my 2017 ford edge car two weeks ago in my driveway and notice the panoramic roof glass had wavy cracks in it. No chips or leaks just a wavy crack that can be felt from the exterior. Reserched this issue and found it to be common in edges from 2014 and up to the point that there was a class action lawsuit filed against ford for not doing anything that was dropped in 2016. I don't know if it's a stress fracture or due to the heat. Ethier way i am concerned the glass is going to fail even more. There are accounts where these roofs have exploded while driving also. |
