Description of the problem | Living in colorado it get very cold at times. A gap at the front edge of the rear wheel well opening allows melted snow or ice to get into the area and under the rear doors. The liquid re-freezes and seals the door shut. It can not be opened. Putting heat lamps near the two areas (both sides) took over an hour to thaw the ice and allow the door(s) to open. #2 brakes squeak when backing up - reported to dealer several time and brakes were checked - worst again in cool weather. I may not seem like a big deal to have the rear doors freeze shut but it is potentially very serious if the vehicle had to be exited in a hurry in an emergency. |
