Description of the problem | I opened the electric liftgate and was in the process of placing a wheelchair into the back compartment when the hatch decided to close automatically. The liftgate struck me on the head and continued to push me down. I had to push on the liftgate as hard as i could to get it to reverse. If a young child had been hit it would have caused serious injuries. We called 2 ford dealers who offered to give us an appointment for service with a 2 week wait. (boy, do they care). I ended up with a mild concussion...... Nausea and mild lightheadedness. Something should be done to stop this liftgate from hurting people.... |
