Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2017 ford edge. The contact stated while driving at approximately 35 mph the brake pedal was depressed traveling to the floor board failing to stop the vehicle, as a result rear ending the vehicle in front causing it to collide with another vehicle. No warning lights were illuminated. No vehicle occupants sustained injuries. The vehicle was not taken to dealer or local mechanic for a diagnostic testing. A police report was filed. The contact mentioned that the vehicle was taken to ravenel ford (6340 savannah hwy, ravenel, sc 294700) approximately a month ago for brake issues. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where the brake fluid reservoir was replaced due to the brake warning light illuminating. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 34,000. |
