Description of the problem | The engine starts rough but clears and the vehicle uses some radiator fluid. We took it to have it checked out and the dealer told us we need a new engine. Ford has a technical service bulletin out for this issue but because we are over on the mileage they will not cover anything. We now have a 3 year old vehicle that is basically worth nothing. I called ford motor company and they will not even admit that they have a problem with this defective engine. The dealer told us that the new motors have the defect corrected. I feel ford should stand behind a defective engine but they won't until the government tells them to. |
