Description of the problem	After having the vehicle for just over a year, with 61k miles, my check engine light came on and i am being told that i need a new engine. I was told that the engine coolant is leaking into the engine and that the only remedy is to replace the engine. This is not a wear and tear issue but after searching online have found that it is a wide spread issue people are having with this model. Ford has said that there is nothing they can do about it until a recall is issued with my vehicle being 1k miles out of warranty. Others have stated that ford service has admitted they have had a lot of complaint and repairs for the same issue. I am unable to pay for a new engine and my families safety is at risk. Https://www.
