Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2009 ford edge. The contact stated that the suspension was faulty and the brakes failed. When she depressed the brake pedal at 8 mph, she heard a loud grinding noise and the vehicle would not stop. If the abs had not engaged, she would have been unable to stop completely. The dealer test drove the vehicle and could not find any failures. The contact informed them that the suspension needed to be repaired first and then the vehicle should be test driven at over 40 mph in order to duplicate the failure. The dealer informed the contact not to bring the vehicle back. The failure mileage was 4,020. |
