Description of the problem | The brake pedal started with a spongy feel but now has become very hard at times to press. The service technician told me the brake booster is failing. He advised me to check with ford to see if the brake booster was covered since other vehicles with similar problem had a recall or service warranty. Ford motor company was not will to cover it due to it did not fall under there recall for the 2009 model year but covers model year 2007 - 2008 then 2010 - 2013. My vehicle was place in the shop to have the defective part replace at my expense. |
