Description of the problem | When filling the gas tank, the gas will spew out as the tank gets full. The gas gets all over the side of the car as well as the ground around that area. This is a well documented problem on nitro forums and the cause is known to be a faulty roll over valve in the tank. The only fix is to have the tank completely replaced. This is a known defect and safety concern and the owner should not be responsible for the replacement. This is not sanitary or good for the car. The exact same problem was recalled on the jeep liberties but not for our nitro's, which have the exact same tank. This is a serious health and safety risk, please help us nitro owners out. |
