Description of the problem | Every time i fill up my dodge nitro fuel overflows from the tank in upwards to half a gallon. It seems to not matter whether i set the pump on low, high or fill up manually, fuel overflows from the nozzle of the tank, after pump has shut off)... Once soaking my pants in gas. The issue has happened multiple times at multiple gas stations. This is an environmental problem, it's a personal danger, and a danger to others. I bought the vehicle used, and have no knowledge that this has been an issue prior to me purchasing, however, based on how many times it has happened to me i can most likely assume it was. When doing research on the issue i have discovered that i am not the only person having this exact problem. Seems as though jeeps and dodges are having these issues. A recall needs to be enforced on this. |
