Description of the problem | Purchased 2008 dodge nitro sxt used with 61,500 miles on it. Gas tank fill tube overflows every time you fuel up vehicle. It does not matter how fast or slow you add fuel it overflows every time. Contacted my mechanic and he stated to contact dealer as it is a safety issue. Called dealership and they checked for plugged vent and said if not that must be tank itself. Tons of complaints and dodge seems to sweep it under the rug, very dissappointed. Called the 1-800-992-1997 for dodge and filed a complaint. Meanwhile still dealing with tank overflowing with every fill........... |
