Description of the problem | Driving down a state road and my brakes became spongy. In order to stop i would have to slow down and push my brakes pedal to the floor. The first time it happened i pulled over and shut my car off too call someone. As soon as i started my vehicle again the brakes were fine. Today i decided to pull over again and turn the car off. When i turned it back on i pumped the brakes a few times and it was back to normal. This has happened to me three times so far. I have a newborn and cannot risk brake problems. I checked and my vehicle does not have a recall, however, dodge journeys between 2012 and 2015 have recalls. Mine is a 2013 but no recall. Is this the same issue? And if so, why do i not have a recall on mine?. |
