Description of the problem | 2013 dodge journey has transmission shifting problems from a stop to a start. The journey was taken to our local chrysler dealership. They test drove the vehicle and said the transmission was overfilled. They drained some fluid out and test drove. My receipt for the vehicle states at the bottom found flash that had an update for ppm which was directly related to shifting issues. Ran ppm update and performed a quick learn on transmi7 ssion which set all settings back to default on transmission. I will be taking the vehicle back to chrysler dealership again transmission slips still about 4 too 8 seconds between 1st and second gear. Sometimes when i am on a steep hill it might roll backwards if their isn't enough speed from transmission slip. This vehicle can cause a accident their is a lot of complaints about the transmission on this vehicle. |
