Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2012 dodge journey. While driving 30 mph with the accelerator pedal depressed, the vehicle failed to accelerate. The vehicle stopped moving and the stability and traction warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was towed to 5 corners dodge chrysler jeep ram (1292 washington ave, cedarburg, wi 53012, (262-375-3900), but the failure could not be duplicated. The contact mentioned that the failure occurred at least three different times. The contact found nhtsa campaign number: 15v675000 (electronic stability control, service brakes, hydraulic), but the vin was not included because the vehicle was manufactured in february of 2012 versus april 12, 2012 to april 14, 2015, as the recall stated. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 107,000. |
