Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2012 dodge journey. The contact stated that when the passenger seat was moved forward and/or backwards, the air bag light turned on and off and then remained illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a mechanic who diagnosed that the "b1c4e passenger positioner open circuit "did not send the signal to inflate or to activate in case of a crash". The passenger side wiring needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was not notified. The approximate failure mileage was 47,900. |
