Description of the problem | Issues with brakes on 2011 dodge journey. Recently brakes started squeaking and sounded like metal grinding coming from the front of the vehicle. Just recently took the vehicle to dodge dealership asking that they look over the brakes, i was informed that they are no longer covered by warranty and will be at my expense if anything needs to be replaced. Got a call a short time later and they said that upon visual inspection they could not find any problems with the brakes. I was told that there could have been a rock or something stuck in the braking system. Problem still persists although it is intermittent and usually only happens at slower speeds we still question the safety of the vehicle and the proper functionality of the braking system. Vehicle currently has just over 24000 miles problem started somewhere around 20000 miles. |
