Description of the problem | As i was driving on i-35 north in iowa - rain was just starting - no other vehicles nearby, no birds, overpasses, etc - the sunroof exploded into a thousand tiny pieces. Luckily, the sunroof cover was closed as it kept all the glass from falling into the car. There appears to be no simple explanation why this happened. The service mechanic at a dodge dealership said it appeared to be faulty glass although dodge will not accept a claim under my warranty. |
