Description of the problem | This engine (v6 pentastar 3. 6) is tapping. It seems to be common problem among chrysler jeep and dodge. Chrysler states that the engine lifts and rockers are culprit and repairs have been done on some chrysler and jeep models with this same engine but dodge will not repair or compensate for the faulty parts on this engine by the maker. This is a flaw in the engine design and construction, this problem should be repaired by maker and not passed on to the consumer. Since this problem has started i noticed the car seems to stall and it's not as powerful as it once was. I took the car to a dodge dealership that diagnosed the problem as the lifts and rockers in the engine specific to the left side. |
