Description of the problem | For months now, i have had to complain to my dodge dealer where i purchased my 2013 dodge durango and get it serviced about how it suddenly stalls while driving. I have associated it with hitting a bump such as a pothole or going over railroad tracks and it will die out and i have to put it in park. It will then start right back up. It has happened on city streets as well as highways. No codes are showing up and battery and alternator check out fine. Cables all have a good connection and fuses are said to be good. I get told "have to wait until it gets worse" or "you'll have to leave it with us so we can drive it and wait for it to do it" but this is my only vehicle and it may do it numerous times one day and will never do it again over the next month. It's random. I have noticed there was an alternator recall on 2011-14 yr makes of the durangos but my vin shows mine is clear and the fuel pump relay recall has been fixed. Something is definitely not right. |
