Description of the problem | Purchased vehicle in nov 2013. Received recall for brake booster in may 2014 (p14/nhtsa 14v-154). Called and scheduled an appointment. Dealership said that they would call when the part was received. No call to date. Received second recall notice via mail on 12/26/14. Called dealership and they stated that the parts were not coming in very quickly. Recommended i file this complaint with the nhtsa. Also stated that they were doing the second recall for sun visor wiring, received in aug 2014, in conjunction with the brake booster, when/if the parts arrive. (p36/nhtsa 14v-391). This report is filed to comply with the directions of the recall that state "if your dealer fails or is unable to remedy the defect without charge and within a reasonable time, you may submit a written complaint to the administrator". |
