Description of the problem | While driving on the highway with my wife and kids the truck had hard shift then went into neutral. The engine light came on. My wife panicked but i was able to get her to pull across the three lanes of traffic on the highway to the shoulder. Once stopped we manually shifter to park then turned off the car let it sit for a few minutes. We restarted the car and everything appeared to be working fine except for the service light which was on. The error code was a p0730. Incorrect drive shift ratio. The transmission is automatic. There are a lot of threads about this issue on multiple dodge vehicles up to 2015. It appears to be on the 5 speed. I called dodge customer service and am bringing the vehicle into the dealer. I also had dodge customer service open a escalated ticket for the issue. Vehicle has a little over 50,000 miles at the time. |
