Description of the problem | Camshaft and lifters on chrysler 5. 7l hemi engines need replacement. I have a 2013 dodge durango with the 5. 7l hemi engine. I have the oil changed regularly at 4000 miles. With 91,000 miles on the engine, the engine reported a miss fire on cylinder 5. Had the vehicle checked at the local dodge dealership, and they stated that the problem is with the cam and lifters. This sounds like a very common problem with these engines. The dodge mechanic told me he was working on three other 5. 7l hemi engines that have the same problem. If you look on line, this is a major issue with other owners of vehicles that have the 5. 7l engine. |
