Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2013 dodge durango. The contact stated that the vehicle was repaired per an unknown recall regarding the alternator. The contact was informed that the ecm board was faulty due to the damage on the voltage regulator. The following day, while the contact's wife was pulling out of the parking lot, the vehicle's electrical system began to show signs of a low battery. Shortly after, the vehicle shut off due to a dead battery. The vehicle was towed to barbera autoland (located at 7810 roosevelt blvd, philadelphia, pa 19152, 215-309-8670) where it was diagnosed that the ecm board failed and needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and opened case number: 68047300. The manufacturer contacted the dealer who stated that the recall part was replaced and the ecm board was not included. The approximate failure mileage was 88,000. |
