Description of the problem | T36 recall. Driving down a busy street, battery light illuminated for a second, wipers stopped working, car immediately shut off. Key stuck in ignition. Went to try and have care jump started, did not work. Felt cables from battery and alternator both hot. Towed to dealership. Dealership diagnosed stating recall for alternator, pcm fried. Dealership is stating not related. Called fca group who stated dealer would have to call them. Dealer states not related, no outcome. Having vehicle towed away as dealer is quoting me $1100. 00 for repairs to pcm. During fault, intersection was very busy main streets, infant in car seat cars 1 car was close to hitting vehicle. Very unsafe. Unable to put car in gear, had to have police behind car as hazards would not work. Power to vehicle not on. |
