Description of the problem | We have owned our 2013 dodge durango since it had 30 miles on it. It has 60,000+ miles on it and for the last year it has failed to start on multiple occasions. We took it to the cerritos dodge dealership and they said it could be 2 things. One is $900+ and the other is $1200+ to fix it. Why should we pay for something that comes faulty from the manufacturer? This is not oil or a filter that needs changing every few months. An electrical component should not be going out at such an early rate plus be so expensive. My brpther bought the same truck a few months before us and it has had the same issues and then some. Their truck actually stalled on them while on the street. The truck would not start for over an hour. They had to get it towed home. The next day when they woke up it started like nothing ever happened. When they took it to the dealership that same day they tested everything and said nothing was wrong with it. Now what the hell is wrong with the vehicle? Why should we have to pay thousands of dollars for faulty manufacturer parts? Chrysler/dodge needs to fix this issue once and for all. Lets not wait for someone to die from these faulty parts. |
