Description of the problem | I was driving my 2013 dodge durango citadel. While driving approximately 45 mph the passenger side headrest became dislodged and sprung open out of no where. Thankfully, no one was in the seat as they could have been severely injured. After contacting the dealership it appears the plastic retaining pin receiver had broke. Small pieces of plastic were inside the headrest and it is unable to be reset. The dealership does not cover this under any warranty and it would be almost $800 to repair. I believe this headrest is also connected to my airbag deployment system. It is unknown if any further issues could happen from this. |
