Description of the problem | My vehicle had a alternator recall recall date was issued on july 10, 2017 i had my local dodge dealer change the defective alternator between april and august of 2018. My vehicle was in storage for about 7 months. My battery light kept coming on on 10/25/ 2020 i had the battery and alternator tested and alternator showed was charging at 11. 13v which is under the acceptable limit. I believe this should be a recall the alternator is only 2 years old nothing aftermarket is installed in vehicle to effect charging system. |
