Description of the problem | Sensor light for airbag illuminated when returning from out of town trip yesterday 04-aug-15. I first searched for recalls and found an article that 2 days ago there was a recall on select vehicles. The vehicles listed included dodge chargers 2011-2014. I called to confirm with dealership whether or not my particular vin was involved in the recall. I was told it was not. This worries me due to the nature of the sensor and if the air bag happens to deploy while i am driving. I could hurt myself, my family or other drivers. I would like someone to check into this since the recall is so recent and on the website for the recall it states that it may not include recent recalls. The last update i saw listed was mid jun this year. Thanks for your attention to this matter... |
