Description of the problem | Takara recall i was coming home from work and my car shut the radio off and slowly started shutting off other accessories to the car. I work 30 miles from my house. When i got home, the car would not shut off, would not go into park. And everything was going hay wire. I had to put the parking break on so i would move, because i couldn't get it to go into park. Thank goodness my window was down because i couldn't unlock the car. I had to crawl through the the back seat to pull the emergancy lever to open the trunk. After that i disconnected the battery. I soon found out the battery died and the alternator burnt up. I have replace the battery and the alternator and started the car. It runs but all the electronics are still inoperable. |
