Description of the problem | While driving on city street car just stopped. B4 car stopped wipers came on,radio shut off,all kinds of lights lite up on dashboard. Car stopped in middle of road causing a very dangerous situation. Had car towed to dealership where they informed me alternator was out and paid $950 for new alternator. I researched and found recall on alternator for 160 amp alternator,my car has 180 amp alternator and not covered by recall but everything i read indicates the same dangerous problem as the 160 amp alternator. This is a very serious flaw in this alternator and could easily cause deadly accidents |
